SERCHING FOR THE LOST WORLDa trip into the everyday life of Jews before the WWII

We would like to propose to you an unusual and interesting trip following a Jewish trail. We desire to show you towns and small cities in which till now one can see some remains of Jewish culture and history: old or still open synagogues and cemeteries, prayer houses and Talmudic schools...

We also would like to present to you places of martyrdom of Jewish people. Not only those you already know about because they are visited by people from all over the world, but also hundreds of others which can be recognized only because of some small symbols. Sometimes you can find them thanks to a lonely stone somewhere in the forest on which the number of people killed in this place is written. Sometimes, you can find only an abandoned apple tree - a witness of an old village to which inhabitants will never return...

While following traces of Jewish culture and history in Poland with us, you can use the itinerary which we prepared for you below (the whole thing or only the parts that you are interested in) or you can choose your own places that you would like to visit because they are part of your identity, personal history, you have heard about them or you simply want to visit something different than all other people.. It will be a real pleasure for us to prepare your individual schedule according to your wishes and expectations. We will take you wherever you desire to go!

Our suggestion of the Jewish Trail excursion in Poland (10 days)

Day 1. Warsaw

This day we will meet you at the Warsaw airport to take you to the hotel in which you will stay for the next two nights. There, we would like to discuss with you the itinerary and respond to all your questions if you already have some, as well as help you with arranging all necessary things and with solving all of the problems you can have in an unknown country. We can assure you that you won't be left on your own, without any map of the city and idea how to call your family or friends to tell them that you had no problems with arriving in Poland.

Day 2. Warsaw

During your stay in Warsaw, we would like to show you at the very first place, an old Jewish district and the area of the old ghetto which is possible to recognize thanks to the rest of the original fragments of the ghetto walls. We also want to take you to some places of the martyrdom of Warsaw Jews who were killed here during the ghetto uprising as well as in the public executions end while being transported to the extermination camps where they were sent only to find death. Moreover, you will see with the local guide a big Jewish cemetery where you can find tombs of many famous people from before the war and you will visit the only open synagogue in Warsaw. In the evening, we will invite you to the good Jewish restaurant in the city centre.

This day is a day of many sad reflections and memories and also a day of many questions and thinking of some possible answers...
